Life at Carden
At Carden Academy, we understand that we’re not only supporting your child’s education but also your family. We provide a range of services that are designed to support your efforts in raising a conscientious and confident individual.
Carden Academy is set on 15 acres of facilities and green space where our students can learn, play and compete. It has a state of the art science lab and technology lab, library, art room, multi-use room and well equipped classrooms.
Private shuttle service is provided from the Santa Clara Library, the Sunnyvale Community Center, Evergreen area and the Safeway Rivermark to and from the campus on school days, providing an added convenience to parents. In the mornings, the separate shuttles depart for the school at 8:00 a.m. In the afternoons, shuttles leave the school at 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Uniforms can give students a sense of dignity and self-respect and are worn by all students starting from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Students must wear the approved Carden Academy uniform unless it is a Free Dress or Special Dress Day, which are days scheduled and outlined by the administration. Uniforms can be purchased from Merry Mart, located at 33 Washington Street in Santa Clara, or through their website at www.merrymartuniforms.com.
The hot lunch program at Carden Academy is provided by Choice Lunch, a leading hot lunch provider for a number of schools and camps in the Bay Area. www.choicelunch.com is the online tool where parents can conveniently select lunches from a wide selection of delicious meals, both hot and cold. Milk-only service is also available.
