School Supplies
All supplies are due on the first day of school. You can buy these on your own, or order them through our Prepaid School Supplies Program by clicking the button at the bottom of this page by Friday August 3, 2012. All supplies ordered through the website will be delivered to the school and be ready for your student on the first day of class. If you are purchasing your own school supplies, to save time you may bring your supplies with you to the Welcome Back Ice Cream Social. Please note, additional items may be required throughout the year by individual teachers.
Carden Academy's Prepaid School Supplies Program is an optional service which helps parents start the new school year smoothly. Students and teachers enjoy an organized first day with complete and standardized supplies that perfectly match each respective teacher’s classroom requirements. Parents no longer have to spend their summer searching for a wide range of items from multiple stores, and have to contend with bringing these items to a busy first day of school. Items available through the program are indicated below by a fee.
Personal Items to Bring on Opening Day
The following items MUST be in class on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. Your student begins using them on day one! PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING CLEARLY WITH YOUR STUDENT’S NAME.
ALL GRADES Earthquake Kit
Please send a quart-sized ziploc bag containing non-perishable food your child enjoys (granola bars, dried fruit snacks, jerky, etc.), a bottle of water, and a completed Disaster Preparedness Card. The kit will be returned to you at the end of the school year.
